Butler-Weir Rio Trip 31 JAN '04
5 Km up the Rio Mananti, the 3 family group "La Ganga" (The Bargain Store) was our first stop. Here they said the
waters had been almost 3 feet above the bank edge during the storms of the previous week!

catch on the tours.
These youngsters (12 in all) each received a gift of a shirt from the generous owners of the luxurious yacht Free Spirit

the package to one the wives. The beans provide extra nourishing meals they wouldn't ordinarily have.

Showing these youngsters pictures of themselves is a sure way to smash through the time and culture barriers.

While the tourists were out looking at the jungle, the kids decided it was time to clean their catch and have their lunch.
You can't imagine what they are taking pictures of!
This gives a new meaning to a "Pig Stoop", or "Pig Sty" with insect repellent.
This Great White Egret is a common sight on the lower portion of the rios.
