TRIP 28DEC05
What a way to see the sights of Panama's Jungle Rios!
After the rains, there's still the views to be had - and isn't the rain just a part of the experience?
The visit to "La Ganga" must have been an eye-opener for the kids! Hard to believe, coming from up North, that this
type living style is the norm.
I know just how he felt - no amount of Mom's coaxing will get him over to THAT PLACE!
Man taking his dogs for "a walk" on the Rio Guariviara.
Pueblo of Mananti Abajo on the Rio Guariviara, one of the larger villages in the area.
Another view of the pueblo Mananti Abajo, near the mouth of the Rio Guariviara.
Lest you forget the beauty and tranquility of the jungle rios of Bocas del Toro - Rio Guariviara.
You've heard of "water hazards", but this is probably the first time water hazards came in a 3 inch PVC pipe strung
across a river! This is actually bringing fresh water some 8 Km to the pueblo Mananti Abajo, and will be run to every
house in that village!
Ah, for the simple life along the Rio Guariviara!
In case you missed the Toucan or
the Great White Egret
